I am about to say goodbye to this fabulous skirt. I found it in a thrift shop over 20 years ago and have had tons of fun wearing it. As I was folding it to put in my Etsy pile — to pass on to a future retro clothing fashionista — I glanced down at my living room carpet, and at my favorite clogs, and I knew I had to take this photo! I just love the combo of pattern and color! So inspiring! The skirt was made by hand, and probably dates from the 1970s. The fabric is vintage barkcloth. It is a short, wrap skirt, and is gathered at the waist. Adorable with leggings and boots. As soon as I have time, I will be listing it on my Etsy site, victoriabcollectible, a division of VictoriaBDesignShop. I invite you to favorite my Etsy shops, and to like my Facebook pages (hand painted silk scarves here — art and collectibles here) so you can be the first to learn about new items. Somewhere down the line, don’t be surprised if you see a victoriab:design scarf (or two) that was inspired by this photo! How can I resist? Have a groovy Friday, everyone!
